Cookies and browser storage

1. Necessary cookies and storage

• Authentication and session cookies of the auth layer — they keep a pilot logged in and a passenger's magic-link session valid across requests.
• Language preference (pilotio_locale) — remembers the chosen interface language. It contains only a two-letter language code.

2. What we do not use

• no analytics (no Google Analytics or similar),
• no advertising or tracking pixels (Meta Pixel, etc.),
• no cross-site marketing tracking.

Payment for a paid plan happens on the payment provider's page; that provider sets its own cookies on its own domain, not on the Pilotio domain.

3. Cookie consent

Because Pilotio uses only technically necessary cookies and one functional preference, no consent banner is required. If we add analytics or optional tracking in the future, we will update this document and ask for consent at that point.
